CBI Retreat | 2019 2018 2017 2016 2015

The CBI program has an annual retreat joint with the UMass Amherst Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BMB) department and the UMass Worcester Biochemistry & Molecular Pharmacology (BMP) department. Joint retreats have become highlights of CBI community-building events over the years. We switch the location between Amherst and Worcester MA every other year. Each year, there are 8 oral presentations given by students and post docs from the 2 campuses as well as one keynote address given by a faculty member of the opposite campus. A great addition to the retreat is a competitive pie-eating contest! Fun fact: Table Talk pies originated in Worcester MA!
